Net Type
(Chain & Tire, Wire, Fiber)

The fender is covered by one of the following net type for additional protection in heavy usage, particularly in offshore berthing environment

・	Chain & Tire Net Type - Most durable type
・	Wire Net Type - light and more easily reconditioned
・	Fiber Net Type - very light and easy to handle/ For small fender sizes

Sling Type

A net-less type with stronger body reinforcement, equipped with towing pad eyes on both ends for installation. The sling type fender is very light and easily handled, particularly preferred by Navy vessels. Comes in 3 main colors: Black, Light Gray, and Creamy White

Internal Initial Pressure

Yokohama Pneumatic Fenders of same size can provide different levels of performance according to internal air pressure levels specified in the fenders.

・	Pneumatic-50 (50 kPa)*
・	Duty Pneumatic-80 (80 kPa)*
	(*) in accordance with ISO 17357

a fixed pneumatic fender with or with out frontal protector panel model developed by the company in the 1970's, which is another ideal fender system providing a soft and stable berthing condition to the ship. The ABF is also another highly effective fixed fender system preferred in large crude oil and LNG/LPG loading terminals, especially in exposed sea condition.
